Chapter 76: The Course of the Luminaries - The Sun

76:1
And the sun has four gates whence he goes forth, and four gates where he enters: the east, the north, the west, and the south.
76:2
And through the gate of the east the sun goeth forth thirty mornings, and through the north gate he entreth thirty mornings.
76:3
And from the north he turneth to the west, and goeth thirty mornings, and from the west he goeth to the south, and goeth thirty mornings.
76:4
And thus the sun fulfilleth the year, with thirty days for each month and four extra days.
76:5
And the sun riseth in the east and setteth in the west, and the whole creation is lightened by his rays.
