Chapter 82: The Oath of Enoch

And Enoch swore an oath unto his sons, saying: 'I have been shown all the mysteries of heaven and earth, and I have been taught the courses of all the luminaries.'

'And I command you to teach these things unto your children, and let them teach their children, that this knowledge may be preserved forever.'

'For in the knowledge of the heavens, men shall understand the wisdom of the Holy One, and they shall be filled with understanding and knowledge.'

'And blessed are they who keep these commandments, for they shall inherit the kingdom, and their offspring shall be established forever.'

And the book of the heavenly luminaries was sealed, and it was preserved unto the righteous, that they might have understanding of the works of God.
