Chapter 85: The Vision of the Animals

And Enoch saw in his vision animals of various kinds, and they were engaged in conflict and strife.

And the angel said unto him: 'These animals represent the nations of the earth, and their conflicts represent the wars and contentions that shall come to pass.'

'But in the last days, the Elect One shall come, and He shall bring peace upon the earth, and the conflicts shall cease.'

'And the animals shall dwell together in peace, and the lion shall lay down with the lamb, and the wolf shall dwell with the sheep.'

And Enoch was comforted at this vision, and he knew that the Holy One would bring peace to all the earth in the end.
