Chapter 73: The Course of the Moon

73:1
And the angel showed me the course of the moon, and how it moveth in twelve months, and how it appeareth full and waning according to the law appointed unto it.
73:2
'The moon hath gates also, and it passeth through them in order, that it may mark the seasons and the months for the children of men.'
73:3
'And the moon is a lesser light, appointed to rule over the night, and to give light unto the darkness.'
73:4
'And the course of the moon is completed in twenty-nine days and one half, that the month may be established for the reckoning of time.'
73:5
And the moon shineth with reflected light, and it waxeth and waneth according to its appointed course.
